TRADE IN / TRADE UP
Q: How do I find out the value of my laptop?
Go to Trade In to receive an estimate of what your laptop may be worth. If your product has no value, please then consider carefully recycling it before just putting in the trash.
Q: Who pays for the shipping charges?
We do - a box and pre-paid label will be sent to you free of charge.
Q: How do I ship my laptop to you?
Once you have accepted the estimate for your laptop you will be sent a suitable box to either your billing address, or delivery address (if provided). Simply stick the pre-paid label provided to the lid of the box, pop your laptop and mains adapter inside the box and drop off at your local post office within 14 days.
Q: What happens if my laptop is valued lower than the estimate?
The final Trade-In price will only be lower if there are undeclared faults, parts missing, or lower spec components fitted. If you are happy with the adjusted value then we will make the payment to you. If you are not happy, then we will ship the laptop back to you subject to a £25 fee to cover all postal and packaging costs.
Q: How soon will I get my cash?
We will transfer the money via BACS to your bank account the next business day after we receive and inspect your device at our facility.
Q: My laptop is in bad condition - it's falling apart! I don't think you'd want to buy it?
We may still be able to make you an offer! Let us know what kind of laptop you have by completing the estimator and let’s then see what it is worth.
Q: Do you also buy desktop computers or any other computer equipment?
Sorry, we buy only Microsoft Windows based laptops.
Q: If I trade up for a newer laptop is this guaranteed?
Yes, our laptops come with a 90 day guarantee, unless otherwise stated, please examine the condition and guarantee notes carefully for each specific laptop being offered for full information.
TRADE REPAIR
Q. Can I get a repair quote before I take my laptop to a Repair Centre?
Yes - please use our Repair Centre search facility to find the nearest to you. You will be emailed a list of Repair Centre's along with their contact details.
Q: If I wish to have my laptop repaired is there any warranty?
All Repair Centres are privately owned. WeBuyAnyLaptop Limited are not liable for any works carried out, warranties issued or implied by the independant Repair Centre.
Q: What if a repair goes wrong?
Any repair carried out to your laptop at a Repair Centre that has referred by us is bound by their terms and conditions. If however you have an issue with a referred Repair Centre we welcome to hear your thoughts.

Q: What about VAT?
All prices shown on the website include VAT where applicable.
Q: I have sensitive information stored on my laptop's hard drive. Should I erase it myself?
We fully erase and reformat each and every hard disk we receive before processing a laptop any further.
